PURE ENJOYMENT BEHIND HISTORICAL WALLS
Our restaurant at the See & Park Hotel Feldbach underwent complete renovation during the winter months of 2025/2026 and will reopen on Saturday, March 14, 2026, under the new name KUNOS Restaurant.
The name KUNOS pays homage to Kuno von Feldbach, a nobleman, castle lord, and landowner of the 13th century who had a significant influence on the history of our town. KUNO was the owner of Feldbach Castle on Untersee (today’s Feldbach area). In 1252, he transferred the castle, fields, vineyard, and patronage rights to a community of Beguines (a religious lay community) from Constance. With this donation, he wanted to ensure the salvation of his family’s souls – and in doing so, he made a historical mark that continues to have an impact today. AMBIENCE
Our new KUNOS restaurant is located within the venerable walls of the refectory (dining hall) of the former monastery. The large window façade offers a view of Lake Untersee. The wooden floor radiates warmth, and the fireplace in the middle of the room creates a cozy atmosphere. A total of 60 seats at freestanding tables, on benches along the wall, or in the private dining room promise a pleasant time. The interior design was created and implemented by LIGNO in-Raum AG.
CUISINE
Chef Nicolas Lilla’s philosophy combines casual fine dining with down-to-earth, honest cuisine. The focus is on traditional classics, which are interpreted in a creative and modern way and surprise with that certain something extra. Whether simple or sophisticated, every dish stands for authentic enjoyment combined with precision craftsmanship.
SERVICE
At KUNOS Restaurant, all guests, whether travelers, workers, or neighbors, are equally welcome. We value relaxed, friendly, yet professional service. We want our guests to not only enjoy culinary delights, but also feel well taken care of.
WINES
The wine selection highlights local treasures while also being enriched by exciting international offerings. Since 2023, the wine list has been awarded the silver Swiss Wine List Award every year.
SCHAFFHAUSER GOURMET-FESTIVAL
From April 25 to May 30, 2026, the 24th Schaffhausen Gourmet Festival will take place, featuring top restaurants serving the best from the kitchens and cellars of the Schaffhausen Pinot Noir region. The host will recommend the perfect wine to accompany each course. We will be participating in the festival and will be cooking a 4- or 5-course gourmet menu for you every evening from Monday to Sunday. The specially created, light spring menu is also available as a vegetarian option. We look forward to seeing you there.
BREATHTAKING LAKE VIEW
The view is simply breathtaking: our lakeside terrace is the perfect place to enjoy yourself, dine, and celebrate, for romantic moments and stimulating conversations, to switch off and recharge your batteries. Enjoy the first rays of sunshine at breakfast and sit in the front row in the evening as the sun sets. There’s no better way to start and end the day. The elegant lounge also offers an unobstructed view of Lake Constance.
During the summer months, we serve you on the lakeside terrace whenever possible. Before and after the lakeside terrace season, we are there for you on our sheltered terrace in the monastery courtyard from the first warming rays of sunshine in February until the last mild days in October.
TURMBAR
The tower bar in the refectory was renovated during the winter months of 2025/2026 and will reopen on Saturday, March 14, 2026.
The spiral staircase in the historic onion dome leads to a bright room with skylights and wooden parquet flooring. Within historic walls, beneath original wooden beams, you can take a seat in stylish armchairs and sofas and watch the flames dance in the fireplace. This cozy retreat in the attic of the former monastery building offers a dignified setting for an aperitif for up to 30 people. Or it invites you to end a wonderful evening in Feldbach with a good glass of wine or a fine whiskey.
WINTE MAGIC IN FELDBACH
Every year from November to January, we transform our lakeside terrace into a winter wonderland. The mystical tranquility of Lake Untersee provides the perfect setting for a special winter experience.
Enjoy cozy aperitifs in the winter lounge, and let us spoil you with delicious treats in our lovingly decorated chalet.
